It's time again for the planting of the garden. Each year we plant in hope of
a harvest. What we plant is directly responsible for what we are able to
harvest. It is the same for the garden of our heart as is with the garden in the
back yard. What we sow is what we reap. If we sow seeds of bitterness and
hatred, we will reap the same. We will also reap such things as loneliness and
fear. But if you plant seeds of love and peace, you will also reap these things.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith. (Gal 8:22 KJV)
So why not be mindful of the seeds you are planting so your harvest will not
be only plentiful but right.

The more you spend time with God, the more you know Him. The more you know
God, the more you love Him. The more you love God, the more you trust him. When you trust God you will find
rest and peace in Him. When you find rest and peace in God you will not worry. Spend time with God today.

Psalm 55:22....cast
your burden on the Lord and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the
righteous to be moved (NKJV)
C-confess your sins and the sins of others
that contribute to your burden, trial or circumstance. Be sure your heart is
clean before the Lord. (1 John 1:19)
A-accept the truth of Psalm 55:22. He
cares for you and He wants to bear your brudens.
S-stand firm in that truth. Truth is a
spiritual weapon that you need to wear every day. Don't go into battle without
it! (Ephesians 6:14)
T-trust without wavering, in Him who
revealed His promise to sustain you. (Romans 4:20-22)
Trials and burdens in this life can cause
anxiety in our lives, but we must remember that God instructed us to give our
cares to Him. Let's learn how to "cast" our cares to HIM!

God Never Changes
His Love is Unchanging (Jeremiah 31:3)
His Word is Unchanging (1 Peter 1: 24
His Throne is Unchanging (Hebrews 1:8)
His Salvation is Unchanging (Hebrews
7:24-25)
His Gifts to us are Unchanging (James
1:17)
He Himself is Unchanging (Malachi 3:6)
Seek His face always (Ps 105:4) and we
will become a reflection of Him, (steady, consistent, reliable, committed).

God knows everything about me. He knows when I sit down and when
I stand up. (Psalm 139:2) He knows my name. (Isaiah 43:1) He knows how many
hairs I have on my head. (Luke 12:7) He knows what I am going to say even before
I speak. (Psalm 139:4) He knew me before I was born, He knitted me together in
my mother's womb. (Psalm 139:13-16) Such knowledge is too great for my human
mind to understand. (Psalm 139:6)
God knows and understands us better than anyone else ever has or
ever will. His love is a personal love. My request is that you read Psalm 139
and understand that His grace is sufficient for you no matter what circumstance
or life situation you find yourself in today.
We think of rainy days as days when we don't like to go outside
and the rain hinders us from being able to do our normal everyday task. We fail
to remember that rain brings growth, and even the lightening brings needed
nitrogen to our atmosphere.
The same is true for us. If I want to grow as a believer, I need
rain in my life. When I read my Bible I find that it is during these times of
rain that I really learn to trust and lean on the only entity that will get me
(and you) through the storms in my life.
During a particular "rainy" time in my life I had the
opportunity to hear a young woman speak on Romans chapter 5. I had to read this
passage many times before, but the words of this scripture really ministered to
me that day. It is my request that you read this chapter today. There are times
when you need to "grow" spiritually and God loves you so much that He makes a
way for you to grow through these tribulations and trials. Just remember that
you can find God in the "eye of the storm" and the "calm of the sea". You can
always find God in your situation if you really look for Him.

We can probably all remember as children singing the song "This
Little Light of Mine, I'm Gonna Let It Shine". The world we are living in today
is full of spiritual darkness. There are people around us everyday who are
desperately looking for something to bring light into their lives. As
Christians, God has called us to be a light to the world. Philippians 2:15 says
that we should be children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved
generation, in which we should shine like stars in the universe.
Because of your environment at your workplace or the situation
in your family, you may be the only Christian in the group. You may feel that
you can't make a difference or influence those around you. But Jesus is the
Light of the World, and if you allow Him to shine through your life, you can
bring light into the darkness wherever he has placed you, even though you may
think your light is very small.
A Word from Sister Freda
Philippians 4:5-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present you requests to God. And the
peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Jesus Christ.
Wow, isn't that an awesome scripture. This scripture is telling us if we
really give our request to God with the full understanding that He is able
and in control, that the Peace of God will guard our hearts and minds. This mean
that when we are going through our strongest storms of life, if we give our
request totally to Jesus and ask Him to take control, that He will give
us peace of mind and He will calm our fears. When it's not natural for us to be
calm or not to worry, He will take the worry away. In our human minds we aren't
able to understand how this is possible. BUT this scripture says that the Peace
of God transcends all understanding.....there are some things we don't need to
figure out, we just need to believe.
